Globalization and its influence on the economy of Azerbaijan

Summary

One of key developments of world economy of the 21st century is the progressing globalization – qualitatively new stage in development of internationalization of economic life.

There are considered problems of globalization of economies on the example of Azerbaijan in the article. Positive and negative aspects of influence of process of globalization on national economy are analysed, ways and the prospects of development of our country against the background of its accession to the World Trade Organization in the future are considered.
